The flavour is unique – compared to custard, almond, onion and vanilla! The texture is unique too, like that of whipped cream, with a thin skin surrounding each pod.

The freeze-dried durian retains the distinctive taste and smell of fresh durian but is served in a dry crunchy state. The texture could be compared to smooth honeycomb.
