Keitt mango is a late-season cultivator, the juicy mango originates from South Florida. The mango variety was names in 1945 after the mangoes were first seeded on the property of Mrs. J.N. Keitt in Florida. The Keitt mango quickly saw popularity as of it’s abnormal size and lack of colour compared to a regular mango. Now the Keitt mango grows across the Caribbean, Central and South America, including Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Puerto Rico.
