Mango – kartha kolamban

Description

Kartha kolamban mangoes sourced from Sri Lanka have green peel and deep orange flesh that has minimal fibre. Once ripe, the flavour is sweet with a slight perfume similar to that of many other South Asian mango varieties found in India and Pakistan.

This variety, which has particularly dark orange flesh, was given the name kartha kolamban as it loosely translates to ‘dark’ or ‘black’.
