Yellow pitahaya – frozen pieces

Description

Yellow pitahaya have juicy translucent flesh which is dotted with countless black seeds and is deliciously sweet!

We separate the flesh of the yellow pitahaya from the peel then cut it into pieces and freeze it here in the UK.

We use about 1 to 2 average size yellow pitahaya to make one 200g box of frozen pieces, 3 to 4 in a 500g container and 4 to 5 in a 600g container.

They’re perfect for adding to your cocktails, smoothies, fruit salads and desserts.

The frozen pieces tastes like fresh yellow pitahaya and retain their nutritional goodness. They are frozen when the fruits are at peak ripeness.
