Yellow pitahaya

Description

Yellow pitahaya are ripe when the thick scaly skin is golden yellow. They grow on cactus plants and unusually, the flowers only bloom at night.

The juicy translucent flesh is dotted with countless black seeds and is deliciously sweet!

Due to their appearance, they are often known by the nickname, yellow dragon fruit.

An average size Yellow Pitahaya weighs 300g.
