Although pomelo closely resemble grapefruit, they are a species in their own right. They are sometimes known as shaddocks, after the sea captain who brought them from Polynesia to the West Indies. This variety of pomelo isn’t as big as other types of pomelo but makes up for that with it’s irresistable taste!
