Maracuya are a large variety of passionfruit with a deep orange pulp. They can be up to 5 times the size of a supermarket bought passionfruit here in the UK.

The taste of the maracuya resembles that of a passion fruit, but with a deeper and slightly sweeter flavour. Many people consider the flavour superior to other varieties of passionfruit.
