Papaya – large – fresh, frozen and dried

Description

he papaya fruit has a spherical shape and can be as long as 20 inches, although they are commonly around 7-10.

It tastes sweet with musky under tones and has a butter like consistency!

Inside a papaya you will find many black seeds surrounded by a bubble of flavourless jelly, even though the seed tastes just like pepper!

The approximate weight of a large papaya is 1.3kg.

Our dried papaya are washed, peeled, sliced and dehydrated. There are no added ingredients. After dehydration the papaya is firm, slightly crisp and chewy. Best for snacking, baking or garnishing.
