Mango – bocado

Description

A sought after mango variety from the Dominican Republic. Bocado mangoes are the perfect snack size, or if you are more hungry two or 3 per sitting would suit.

This small variety has lots of juice and a rich sweet flavour.

In the Caribbean this mango is eaten in an unusual way – Massage the mango all over to release the juice from the flesh. Then make a small hole and suck all the juice and pulp from inside. To release the final flesh from the central seed, it is best to remove the skin and use your mouth.

A messy but delicious mango variety!
