Kiwi – gold

Description

The golden kiwi has a smooth, bronze, paper-thin skin. The flesh colour varies from light yellow, to a bright intense yellow. This variety is sweeter and more aromatic in flavour; than the commonly found green kiwi.

The golden kiwi fetches a higher market price and, being less ‘hairy’ than the green kiwi, is more palatable for consumption without peeling.
