Jujube – dried

Description

The Jujube is a small oval-shaped fruit.

When immature they are smooth-green, with the consistency and taste similar to an apple, and are usually eaten at this stage of ripeness.

On the tree they mature to a brown-purplish colour, and eventually wrinkle, looking like a small date.

There is a single hard seed similar to an olive pit

The 40g packet is jujube slices, the 200g packets are the whole jujube fruit.
