Banana – hom (fragrant banana)

Description

Commonly found in Thailand, these bananas have a taste which is superior to the Cavendish banana, which is the variety found in UK supermarkets. When ripe the flesh is very sweet and people compare them to ‘banana candy’. They are lighter in texture than the cavendish banana.
