Soursop candied

Description

Our candied soursop, also known m?t mãng c?u xiêm, is produced in Vietnam and is traditionally shared as a gift along with other candied fruits around lunar new year.

It’s a delicious snack and popular among the Vietnamese especially during Tet when there is a popular adage: ‘Eat sweet things and think sweet thoughts to ensure a fabulous year lies ahead’.

It’s simply made using soursop and sugar. The flesh is removed from the seeds and skin then mixed with sugar. It’s heated to dissolve the sugar and form a thicker texture then sealed in a wrapper and left to set.

Each candied soursop sweet weighs approximately 10g.
