Description
The shatkora citrus native to Bangladesh has smooth and moderately thick rind, while the pulp is greenish/yellow and does not produce as much juice as many other citrus varieties do. The minimal juice has extremly bitter and to a degree sour taste.
Normally you would use the pulp, flesh and juice of a citrus fruit, although in the case of a shatkora it’s the total opposite. The pulp is commonly discarded of as of its bitter taste and the rind is added to curries as a key ingredient.
Our mature yellow shatkora weigh 300g on average. Our young green shatkora weigh 100g on average.
