The black mulberry is native to Southwestern Asia. The edible fruit is richly flavoured when ripe, and dark purple to black in colour. They are small berries, around 2 to 3cm long.

The dried black mulberries are sweet, soft and slightly chewy like a raisin. They have a delicious sweet flavour with notes of raisin, caramel and toffee. Black mulberries are considered to have a stronger flavour than other varieties of mulberry.

We source fresh black mulberries from Turkey and dehydrate them in-house.
