Mango – long

Description

The long mango from St Lucia is available from the end of May for a few months. They have green skin which ripens to a yellow colour with yellow to orange coloured flesh. The flesh is fibrous and juicy.

They are small to medium sized mangoes weighing between 200g to 400g.

The long mango is very popular among islands in the Caribbean where it’s grown in abundance using organic farming methods.
